Kareem Richardson
will go from one of the nation’s top college basketball teams to a
struggling Division 1 school, and he plans to bring some of the success
he had at Louisville to the University of Missouri-Kansas City, The Kansas City Star reports.
Richardson
plans to emulate Louisville Coach Rick Pitino’s style of play and to
emphasize not letting Kansas City’s best prep players get away from
their hometown college, the report says. UMKC formally introduced
Richardson as the successor to Matt Brown at a news conference on
Monday.
