Missouri
Mavericks’ Head Coach Scott Hillman has been suspended one game and
fined $1,000 by the Central Hockey League (CHL) for his actions in the
Mavericks’ last game against the Quad City Mallards. He will miss the
Mavericks’ game on Tuesday, March 19 against the Bloomington Blaze.
The
CHL’s Hockey Operations Department made the ruling under Rule 39.1
which states: “Any Coach or non-playing Club personnel who throws
anything on the ice during a game will be subject to a bench minor
penalty and a game misconduct. In addition, that person shall receive a
$1,000 fine and an automatic one-game suspension for the next game of
their Team.”
Missouri
has just one more regular season game remaining in the 2012-13 season.
Missouri will host Tulsa on Friday, March 22 at Independence Events
Center. Mavericks’ playoff tickets will go on sale to the general
public this Thursday, March 21 at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster
outlets and at the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office. Playoff
schedules are to be determined and only playoff games A, B and C of the
