Mavericks' Head Coach Scott Hillman Suspended One Game

Missouri Mavericks’ Head Coach Scott Hillman has been suspended one game and fined $1,000 by the Central Hockey League (CHL) for his actions in the Mavericks’ last game against the Quad City Mallards.  He will miss the Mavericks’ game on Tuesday, March 19 against the Bloomington Blaze.
The CHL’s Hockey Operations Department made the ruling under Rule 39.1 which states: “Any Coach or non-playing Club personnel who throws anything on the ice during a game will be subject to a bench minor penalty and a game misconduct.  In addition, that person shall receive a $1,000 fine and an automatic one-game suspension for the next game of their Team.”
Missouri has just one more regular season game remaining in the 2012-13 season.  Missouri will host Tulsa on Friday, March 22 at Independence Events Center.  Mavericks’ playoff tickets will go on sale to the general public this Thursday, March 21 at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office.  Playoff schedules are to be determined and only playoff games A, B and C of the first round will go on sale.  Visit www.MissouriMavericks.com for up-to-date information as it is released.
