Mavericks Activate Andrew Courtney, Place Kyle Hood On IR

The Missouri Mavericks announced Tuesday the Central Hockey League (CHL) club has activated forward Andrew Courtney and placed Kyle Hood on the 14-day injured reserve.
Courtney returns to the Mavericks' lineup after missing nearly a month of hockey as his last game played was in Allen on Feb. 8. The Belleville, Ontario native has played in 33 games with the Mavericks this season and has 25 points on 11 goals and 14 assists. Overall, Courtney has 88 points (43-4588) in 103 games with Missouri. He is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Mavericks take on the Bloomington Blaze at Independence Events Center.
Hood was placed on the 14-day injured reserve although the first-year Maverick has not played since Feb. 18.
Price Chopper Two-for-One tickets are available for tonight's game via Ticketmaster.com or at the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office.
