This
Wednesday, the RoadRunners will gather together and create two sets of
Christmas ornaments to be sold at silent auction during the next home
series (Dec. 14th and 15th against Amarillo). There will be a silent
auction for each game for the ornaments with all of the proceeds going
to the United Way of Topeka.
Also
on Wednesday, some of your favorite players will be assisting the
United Way during their telethon on WIBW Ch. 13. The players will be
manning the phone banks from 4pm-7pm, accepting donations to benefit the
United Way’s Adopt a Family for Christmas initiative. The proceeds from
the telethon will be used to help save Christmas for local area
