We can’t wait to play in our building tomorrow as we are in a tough stretch, and we will need every bit of energy we can get out of our great fans.”
The Mavericks opened up a big lead in the first period before the Mallards answered and tied the game early in the third period. Missouri took a 3-0 lead on goals by Blake Forsyth, Courtney and Kenton Miller.  All three goals came in the first period and Mallards’ goaltender John Murray was replaced by Jimmy Sprott after the third goal.
