February 1 Weekend Preview

We kick off a new month this weekend with plenty of things to do. On the movie front we have three movies being released. First off there is the Sylvester Stallone revenge flick Bullet to the Head. Its the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a DC cop (Kang) who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners. Next up is Stand Up Guys starring Al Pacino, Christopher Walken & Alan Arkin. In this action comedy the three are retired gangsters who reunite for one epic last night. Lastly there is Warm Bodies. If you liked the Zomromcom Shaun Of The Dead you might like this movie. It is a comedic tale about the power of human connection. When the zombie R saves Julie from a zombie attack she sees that R is different from the other zombies and the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival.
Also, on friday is the monthly First Friday in the Crossroads District. Enjoy a free evening of art entertainment where people gather to enjoy local and national art, the company of others, and even a free glass of wine.
