Former Kansas City Knights owner Clark gets 51-month sentence

The former owner of the Kansas City Knights basketball team was sentenced Monday to 51 months in federal prison for tax evasion and bank fraud.
James Clark, 53, of Overland Park, pleaded guilty in April to keeping more than $500,000 in payroll taxes from employees of his health care consulting firm, SWISH Holding Corp., for his personal use. That included running the Knights, a defunct American Basketball Association franchise.
Clark also used false tax returns to overstate the Knights’ profits on an application for a $1.4 million line of credit from UMB Bank.

Missouri Rhythm's Upcoming Events

The Missouri Rhythm have events planned for the next two weekends. This weekend there will be a Youth Basketball Camp open to various age groups this Saturday at Butler Elementary School  in Butler, Mo from 9am to 5pm.
Then on the weekend of July 14th AND July 15th they will be hosting the Final Round Of Tryouts. These tryouts should be an all day event lasting between 6-7 hours and are open to the public. They will be held at the North Kansas City Community Center (1999 Iron Rd, North Kansas City Mo).
