Sprint Center has renewed its contract with Levy Restaurants to bring authentic Kansas City food to the arena.
The
contract allows Chicago-based Levy to continue serving food ranging
from smoked brisket to turkey to Jose Pepper's. Levy has been the food
provider at Sprint Center since it opened, the company said in a
release.
"Sprint
Center was very satisfied with the service," Sprint Center spokeswoman
Shani Tate said in an interview. "We look forward to improving on the
service and food offerings that really reflect Midwest hospitality and
culture."
Levy
Restaurants' food can be found at every event, from a Farmland Foods
stand outside section 119 or Three Girls Cupcakes outside section 117.
Levy has built relationships with 20 Kansas City-area farms and food
purveyors to create its menus, the release said.
Tate declined to disclose details or financial terms of the deal but said the renewed contract is for multiple years.
