Potato Event At Union Station

The Idaho Potato Commission has partnered with Meals On Wheels to help spread the word about the growing issue of senior hunger in America. The Great Big Idaho®Potato Truck will be visiting Kansas City next week to raise awareness and to make a donation to the Kansas City Meals on Wheels program.
Visit with the Tator Team and get your photo taken with the truck! The Great Big Idaho®Potato Truck will be at Union Station from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24.
The trucks measures 72 feet long, 13 feet tall, 12 feet wide and the Idaho potato on the truck is 52 feet long weighing in at 6 tons-- the equivalent of 32,346 medium-sized Idaho potatoes!
Also, Hotel Phillips Executive Chef Justin Voldan will be showing visitors how to prepare Idaho Potato Sliders, Truffled Idaho Tator Tots and Idaho Potato and Wild Salmon Croquettes at 2 p.m. in the Science City Test Kitchen .
Demonstration FREE with purchased admission to Science City. All tickets to Science City are $10.
