Independence Events Center Announces Complete Ice Skate Upgrade

The Independence Events Center announced today that 500 new pair of Riedell ice skates © are coming to the Centerpoint Community Ice. On average over 400 participants, spectators and instructors visit the community ice facility daily to take part in recreational programs, practice and sports competitions.
“We are grateful for the support of the ice skating community and we are excited to grow our spring and summer public ice skating sessions by offering the highest quality ice skates on the market.  Riedell © is an industry leader in rental ice skates, offering unmatched reliability, comfort, and fit.” said Chris Johnston, Community Ice Manger. “We invite everyone to come to the Centerpoint Community Ice and try the new ice skates out.”
“The Centerpoint Community Ice has seen unprecedented growth in ice-related sports and recreation activities over the past three years.  The upgrade to the Riedell ice skate will enhance our program offerings as a whole, and will reinforce the facilities reputation as one of the premier ice skating destinations in the Midwest,” said Mike Young, Independence Events Center General Manager”.
